Alexander Uss is the university president and a full professor of law at the Institute of Law, Siberian Federal University. He has authored and co-authored research papers in criminal law and federal studies and he is a recipient of numerous national awards. Alexander Uss was made Distinguished Lawyer of the Russian Federation and he has an award for developing parliamentary practice in Russia from the Russian government. Alexander Uss has been Chairman of Krasnoyarsk Krai Regional Assembly since 2007.
